Great day for Nashville Half Marathon. Left home 48 degrees; 64 return. Had some GPS problems running between tall buildings. Started toward back cause I peed, went back to truck for another sip, and got in line to pee again. It was just after 7:00 when got to start line and had to squeeze in toward end. Official time 1:51:00 flat. Pace 8:28. Finished 20 of 87 in 40-44 Age Male. 147 of 590 males. 198 of 1,429 finishers. I say finishers, because 1,610 names had bib numbers and you could also sign up at packet pickup. Finished 46 seconds faster than the Clarksville Half a couple of weeks ago.
Ran/walked with Sherri and pushing Lainey in the stroller at 6:30 pm in the Freedom Glow 5k. My left leg hurt, and I was overdressed and got so hot I didn't want to run as much as we did, so it's my fault we didn't do any better. Time 42:00; Pace 13.33.
