Official time 23:13. Missed PR by 7 seconds. I had 23:44 - forgot to stop watch. I had pace of 7:35, was actually 7:29. Had best pace of 3:54!-has to be error or when started off too fast. Mile 1 was 6:46. M2 - 7:34. M3 - 8:07. I wanted all under 8:00. Those 7 seconds cost me PR. Last 0.1 miles - 53 seconds - didn't help either. I was 3rd overall of 25. Three of 9 males. Got first in age group but was really second, because overall winner John Beard was excluded. There was only one other male in age group .
