I had to force myself to run. It was already after 6:00 pm and the sprinkles were beginning to fall a little harder. But I headed out...
Since I was afraid it was about to pour down rain, I tried to run this 3-miler as fast as I could. Anything under 9 minutes is good for me, especially since I have not been running regularly. The pain wasn't bad either, considering I was pushing it. Don't get me wrong - I hurt and was tired - but not as bad as I thought I would be.
My time was 26:28 - an 8:49 pace.
