Well, my plan to get back on schedule has once again been delayed. My right foot hurts so badly it is difficult to walk. It feels like it has been broken all the way across, especially on the outer side.
Sherri and I did venture in to work today. We left home late to avoid rush hour traffic and to let the snow have a longer chance of melting off the roads. As we were getting into Nashville, Elrod called and said not to come in via Donelson Pike. Tractor-trailer trucks (and other) vehicles littered the hills from that direction. We made a wrong turn coming in from a different direction and the road was covered! I couldn't believe that Nashville had a road that bad. The road our company is located on was covered. Semis constantly run this road; Why is it still so bad?
When Sherri finished what she had to do, we headed home. We started out the way we normally do, but had to turn around because the trucks still had the road blocked. Other than that, we made it without incident.
