I wanted to keep it under an hour. At the 1/2 way point, I was 4 seconds behind, so I pushed a little. I just didn't have the feel to push much harder. My lower shins were hurting the first couple of miles, but felt okay on the last 1/2 of the run. I need to remember to "just finish" and not worry about being faster than the last time I ran the same number of miles - that should come later - after I lose the 10 pounds I have gained! I did finish under 60 minutes at 58:53.
